~ Bhagavad Gita 2:47 ~

कर्मण्येवाधिकारस्ते मा फलेषु कदाचन।

"You have a right to perform your duty, but not to the fruits thereof."

Commentary

This sloka teaches Karma Yoga - the yoga of action without attachment. It encourages focusing on the process rather than the outcome.
